All Zenshop BBQs support butane or propane. In Belgium, standard regulators suit butane, but propane is preferred, requiring a 37 mbar regulator instead of the standard 30 mbar. In the Netherlands, a 30 mbar regulator with a Dutch connection is standard for propane or butane.

All our BBQs are suitable for use with butane or propane.

What type of gas pressure regulator is used in Belgium?

In Belgium, it is often possible to work with the gas hose and gas pressure regulator supplied as standard by Zenshop. However, Belgian customers will then often have to work with butane (instead of propane). The downside of butane is that it is not as usable at lower temperatures (around the freezing point).

In Belgium, grilling on propane is the most popular method as well, and Belgian customers can also use propane on our barbecues. However, Belgian customers must purchase a different gas pressure regulator/reliever. In Belgium, a propane pressure of 37 mbar is used. The gas pressure regulator supplied as standard is suitable for 30 mbar.

What type of gas pressure regulator is used in the Netherlands?

In the Netherlands, a gas pressure regulator is used with a Dutch gas connection for 30 mbar, suitable for propane/butane. Zenshop supplies this as standard with your new barbecue. In the Netherlands, propane is the standard for barbecuing.
